Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County and our partners are the front-line responders to reports of child sexual abuse in Denton County. We are the only non-profit organization that uses a unified approach to provide education, healing and justice to children, families and the Denton County community.
We empower child abuse victims, their families and our community through education, healing and justice.
THE CACDC TEAM WORKS TOGETHER THROUGH FOUR CORE VALUES:
Commitment
We will always advocate for healing and justice for abused children and their families.
Collaboration
We take an integrated approach to the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse cases.
Integrity
We earn trust through accountability and high ethical standards.
Wellness
We strengthen and restore healthy families in our community.
History
CACDC came about after the District Attorney’s Office saw a need for not only a united effort in fighting child abuse in Denton County, but also a means to provide healing to young victims and their families. After collaborating with like-minded, concerned citizens, CACDC opened in 1997 and has been a beacon of hope ever since.
