Before Your Birthday:

This year, for my Birthday, I want to do something impactful. There’s a local organization – Children’s Advocacy Center of Denton County – that means a lot to me. They are doing incredible work providing justice and healing for abused children through interagency collaboration and community education. Your donation is the best birthday present I could ask for: LINK.

On Your Birthday:

This year, my birthday wish is to break the cycle of child abuse. Sadly, child sexual abuse occurs in our community every day, with traumatic effects on children and families. That’s why I’m asking for donations to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Denton County as a birthday gift: LINK.

After Your Birthday:

Wow! I can’t thank everyone enough for making my birthday wish come true. With your help, my birthday fundraiser raised $XXXX for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Denton County. Although my fundraiser is over, you can learn more about their work here: https://cacdc.org/.

Tips:

– Post with the link on your Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts – the more you share, the more you’ll raise
– Do you use TikTok? Nothing like doing a video to your favorite birthday song for a little extra exposure.
– Consider matching a portion of the donations for extra encouragement.
– Thank your friends and family along the way with a post.
– Once it’s over, ask your friends and family with upcoming birthdays to do the same.
