Last year, 70 families needed help to have a Thanksgiving meal. We expect even more this year.

Thanksgiving is about family, friends and the precious moments we spend together. However, some of the clients we see at CACDC won’t have a Thanksgiving meal to share with their family due to a lack of resources.

That’s why CACDC partners with the community to give families affected by child abuse a traditional Thanksgiving meal they deserve. We are asking you to support a family by providing a Thanksgiving basket for them to enjoy this holiday.

Please include the following items in your basket:

  • 2 cans green beans
  • 1 fried onion topping
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 2 cans corn
  • 1 large can yams
  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • 1 can cranberry sauce
  • 1 instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 boxed stuffing
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 gravy
  • 1 cornbread mix
  • 1 box macaroni & cheese
  • Canned pumpkin
  • boxed pie crust (not frozen/refrigerated)
  • evaporated milk
  • *Disposable roasting pan (optional)
  • *$10-15 gift card (local grocery store for turkey)

Thank you for your support.
