Children Served

As a donor, you didn’t just give coats and toys to our clients this Christmas – you gave hope and cheer to a child who experienced the trauma of abuse this year.

Without the hundreds of donors who came together to fulfill wishlists, our clients families would struggle to provide necessities to their children this winter, from warm gloves and coats to basic toiletries.

For a child forced to grow up too quickly, who has been hurt and had their trust betrayed, the magic of the holiday season goes a long way. Material things can never substitute for a safe, loving environment, but we know getting a bike or a Lego set sure is fun!

Family Advocates at CACDC run this drive and our others – ensuring kids get all their needed supplies in August during our Back-to-School Drive, and that families have a meal on Thanksgiving – but they do much more year-round.
